Introduction:
Dear CARMU users: This privacy policy is jointly complied with by you and CARMU platform service provider Beijing Jiachang Yichen Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CARMU" or "Platform"). CARMU attaches great importance to user privacy and personal information protection, and will do its best to ensure the security and reliability of your personal information. Therefore, the platform has formulated the "CARMU Privacy Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this policy" or "this privacy policy"), which covers how user personal information is collected, stored, used, shared, and protected. Please read all the terms of this privacy policy carefully (especially the content displayed in bold), confirm that you fully understand the platform's rules for handling your personal information, and make choices that you deem appropriate. If you do not agree to any terms in this policy, you should immediately stop accessing or using the CARMU platform.
Part One Definitions
1. CARMU Platform: Refers to the CARMU client.
2. CARMU Platform Service Provider: refers to the internet information and software service provider for the CARMU platform, Beijing Jiachang Yichen Technology Co., Ltd. (with a contact address at 1-1-22, Building 2, Unit 20740, Guanyin'an South Street, Tongzhou District, Beijing).
3. Personal Information: Refers to various information recorded electronically or by other means related to identified or identifiable natural persons, excluding anonymized information. The personal information referred to in this Privacy Policy includes but is not limited to: Basic information (including name, mobile number, etc.); Online identity information (including IP address, etc.); Personal browsing information (including browsing pages, browsing time, etc.); Personal device information (including device model, device serial number, device MAC address, operating system version, software list, unique device identification code such as IMEI/AndroidID/IDFA/OPENUDID/GUID/BSSID/SSID/ICCID, SIM card IMSI, etc.).
4. Personal Sensitive Information: Refers to personal information that, once leaked or illegally used, may lead to the infringement of the dignity of a natural person or endanger the personal, property security, including ID card number, personal biometric information, bank account, transaction information, property information, travel trajectory, personal information of children aged 14 and below (inclusive), etc. (Platform will significantly identify specific personal sensitive information in bold in this Privacy Policy). The personal sensitive information mentioned in this Privacy Policy includes: Personal browsing information (including browsing pages, browsing time, etc.).
5. Personal Information Deletion: Refers to the act of removing personal information from systems involved in daily business functions to make it unretrievable and inaccessible.

Section One: How the Platform Collects and Uses Your Personal Information
In order to provide you with CARMU services, maintain the normal operation of CARMU services, improve and optimize the service experience, and ensure the security of your account, the platform will follow the principles of "legality, legitimacy, and necessity". The platform collects the information you actively provide, authorize, and generate based on your use of CARMU services for the purposes and methods described below in this policy. Regarding the types of sensitive personal information collected by the platform, please refer to the content indicated in bold below.
(I) Helping You Become a Registered User of the CARMU Platform
First, you need to register a CARMU account to become a CARMU user. When registering, you will need to provide your phone number, real name, currency type, location (city), preferred language, trade identity, and the platform will verify your identity by sending an SMS verification code. After successful registration, you can browse some vehicle source information. You can choose to undergo both personal and company certification for access to more platform features/services.
(II) Collection of Information during the Use of CARMU Services
1. Account and System Security, Optimization of Information Display
(1) To ensure the security of your account and the system, prevent phishing fraud, and identify security risks more accurately, the platform needs to collect your IP address, login device identifier, login device app version, login device brand, login device model, login device operating system version, login device creation time, and browsing information (including visited pages, browsing page time, requested IP during page browsing, total browsing count). The platform may also record links ("URLs") that the platform considers risky. If you refuse to provide the aforementioned information to the platform, the platform will be unable to provide secure services.
(2) In order to quickly locate your information/needs and provide you with the optimal way to display information, the platform may collect device information for the products and/or services you use on the platform (including login device identifier, login device app version, login device brand, login device model, login device operating system version, login device creation time). The platform also uses your personal information mentioned above to continually improve and optimize the mentioned functions.
(3) You can also use search to accurately find the goods or services you need. The platform will retain your search content to facilitate your repeated input or to show you products related to your search content.
(4) Please note that individual device information, service log information, and keyword information are non-identifiable personal information. If the platform combines this type of non-personal information with other information to identify specific individuals, or if it uses it in combination with personal information, then during the period of combined use, this type of non-personal information will be treated as personal information. Unless authorized or as otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, the platform will use it only after obtaining your authorization.
2. Posting Information
(1) When you use the CARMU platform to post new vehicle listings, you need to provide vehicle information to the platform (including vehicle model, price, color), and additional vehicle details (including vehicle images and descriptions).
(2) When you use the CARMU platform to post vehicle purchase information, you need to provide information to the platform including vehicle model, exterior and interior features, sales area, number of units to purchase, the validity period of the search information (can be chosen as 1 day/3 days/7 days), and remarks.
(3) When you use the CARMU platform to provide vehicle quotation information, you need to ensure the accuracy of the quotation.
3. Customer Service Function
You can get in touch with the platform by calling or using in-app messaging. When you contact the platform's customer service, the platform may require you to provide necessary personal information to verify your identity for the purpose of account and system security. To facilitate communication with you, help you resolve issues promptly, or record solutions and outcomes of related problems, the platform may store your communications, correspondence/call records, and related content with the platform (including account information, additional information you provide to verify facts, or contact information you leave). If you inquire, file a complaint, or provide suggestions regarding specific vehicles/users, the platform may use your account information and information you've posted. For the reasonable need of providing services and improving service quality, the platform may use the relevant information you provide when contacting customer service.
4. Translation function
When you use translation functionality, the platform will read and process the corresponding information.
5. Scenarios for Authorizing Platform to Collect and Use Your Personal Information
(1)For the purpose of making it more convenient for you to post messages and enhancing your user experience, the following additional functions of the platform may collect and use your personal information. Even if you do not provide this personal information, you can still post information, but you may not be able to use these additional functions. These additional functions include:
a. Additional Functions Based on Camera: You can use this additional function to complete video shooting, taking photos, scanning, and facial recognition feature authentication. In the future, the platform may apply facial recognition technology to more scenarios, but at that time, the platform will confirm with you again whether you are willing to allow the platform to use your facial information to achieve these additional functions. You can enable or disable this permission by going to "My" - "Settings" - "System Permissions Management" - "Allow CARMU to Access the Camera".
b. Additional Functions Based on Image Upload: You can upload your pictures on CARMU to achieve the function of taking pictures/uploading and publishing. The images you upload will make your information more vivid and specific, thus achieving better communication effects. You can enable or disable this permission by going to "My" - "Settings" - "System Permissions Management" - "Allow CARMU to Access Photos".
c. Microphone-based Additional Features: You can upload videos on CARMU for publishing, which requires microphone usage during video recording. You can also use voice sending and voice calling through CARMU, which utilizes your microphone. You can enable or disable this permission by going to "My" - "Settings" - "System Permissions" - "Allow CARMU to access the microphone."
(2) The above additional features may require you to grant access to your device's camera, photo library, and microphone to the platform, in order to collect and use the information involved in these features. You can check the status of these permissions one by one in your device settings or in the "Settings" section of the app under "System Permissions Management," and you can decide to enable or disable these permissions at any time (the platform will guide you through these settings in your device's system). Please note that by enabling these permissions, you authorize the platform to collect and use this personal information to provide the mentioned features. If you disable these permissions, it means you are revoking this authorization, and the platform will cease collecting and using this personal information, thereby unable to provide the corresponding features associated with these permissions. Your decision to disable permissions will not affect the processing of personal information that was carried out based on your previous authorization.
6. Video Upload Functionality
We utilize the Alibaba Cloud SDK (com.aliyun) to collect SD card data for efficient video upload and storage services, along with short video playback services.
(III) Other Rules for Collecting and Using Personal Information
1. You fully understand that in the following circumstances, the platform may collect and use personal information without obtaining your authorization:
(1) When it is necessary to fulfill legal obligations;
(2) When it is necessary to protect the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in response to public health emergencies or emergencies;
(3) When it is necessary for the implementation of public interest activities such as news reporting and public opinion supervision, and the processing of personal information is within a reasonable scope;
(4) When it is necessary to process personal information that is self-disclosed by individuals within a reasonable scope or other personal information that has already been legally disclosed;
(5) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
2. The platform will use the collected personal information in accordance with the provisions of this policy and to achieve the functionality of the platform's products and/or services.
(1) After collecting your personal information, the platform will use technical means to de-identify your personal information. De-identified information cannot identify specific individuals without additional information. Please understand and agree that, while ensuring the inability to identify specific individuals, the platform has the right to use de-identified information and to analyze and commercialize such information.
(2) Please note that all personal information provided by you when using the platform's products and/or services, unless you submit a deletion request to the platform or refuse platform collection through system settings, will continue to authorize the platform's use during your use of the platform's products and/or services. When you log out of your account, the platform will stop using and delete your personal information.
(3) The platform will conduct statistics on the use of its products and/or services and may share these statistical information with the public or third parties to demonstrate the overall usage trends of the platform's products and/or services. However, these statistical information does not contain any of your identity information.
(4) When the platform displays your personal information in its database, it will use methods such as content replacement and anonymous processing to desensitize your information to protect your information security.
(5) When the platform intends to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this policy, or when information collected for specific purposes is used for other purposes, your consent will be obtained through active checkbox selection in advance.
(6) You should ensure that the personal information you submit (such as account names, avatars, etc.) is accurate and legal, does not contain illegal or improper content such as pornography, violence, or content that violates public morality, and does not harm the legitimate interests of others. If the personal information you provide includes the aforementioned illegal or improper circumstances, the platform will take measures based on the results of legal and compliance verification, such as not allowing registration, changes, or discontinuation of use.
(7) If the information you provide includes personal information of other individuals, you must ensure that you have obtained legal authorization before providing such personal information to the platform.
Section Two: How the Platform Uses Cookies and Similar Technologies
(I)Cookies
1. To ensure the proper functioning of the website, the platform stores small data files known as Cookies on your computer or mobile device. Cookies usually contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters.
2. The platform will not use Cookies for any purposes other than those stated in this policy. You can manage or delete Cookies according to your preferences. For more details, please refer to AboutCookies.org. You can clear all Cookies stored on your computer; most web browsers have features to block Cookies. However, if you do so, you'll need to manually change user settings each time you visit the platform's website, and the relevant information you previously recorded will be deleted, which may affect the security of the services you require.
(II)Client Beacons and Pixel Tags
In addition to Cookies, the platform also uses other similar technologies such as website beacons and pixel tags on the website. For example, emails sent to you by the platform may contain URLs linking to platform website content. If you click on such a link, the platform will track the click to help understand your product or service preferences and enhance customer service. Website beacons are typically transparent images embedded in websites or emails. With the help of pixel tags in emails, the platform can determine if the email has been opened. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you can unsubscribe from the platform's mailing list at any time.
(III)Do Not Track
Many web browsers have a Do Not Track feature that sends Do Not Track requests to websites. Currently, major internet standards organizations have not established policies to specify how websites should respond to such requests. However, if your browser has enabled Do Not Track, all platform websites will respect your choice.
(IV)Use of Network Beacons and Similar Technologies
In addition to Cookies, the platform also uses other similar technologies such as network beacons on the website. Platform web pages often contain electronic images (referred to as "single-pixel" GIF files or "network beacons"). The platform uses network beacons to calculate user visit counts and recognize registered CARMU users through access cookies.
(V)Auto-Start and Associated Start Explanation
1. In order to receive push messages from the client in a normal manner when the application is closed or in the background running state, the application needs to use the (auto-start) capability. It will send broadcasts at a certain frequency through the system to wake up the application through auto-start or associated start behaviors, which are necessary to achieve functionality and services.
2. When you open content-type push messages, with your explicit consent, it will open the relevant content. Without obtaining your consent, there will be no auto-start or associated start.
3. When you open files downloaded from this app, third-party apps will be associated and started.
Section Three: How the Platform Delegates Processing, Shares, Transfers, and Publicly Discloses Your Personal Information
(I) Delegation of Processing
For the purposes stated in this policy, the platform may delegate third parties to process your personal information. These third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations and can only use your personal information for the purposes stated in this policy. The platform will require third parties to strictly adhere to the measures and requirements related to personal information and privacy protection, including but not limited to processing personal information based on relevant service agreements between the third parties and the platform.
(II) Sharing
The platform will only share your personal information with third parties in the following cases:
1. To share your personal information for the core functions of the platform's products or services or to provide the services you need.
2. To share your personal information with your prior consent or authorization.
3. To share your personal information as required by laws, regulations, or administrative or judicial authorities.

(III) Transfer
The platform will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual. However, in the event of mergers, acquisitions, etc., involving the transfer of personal information, the platform will require the new entity holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this privacy policy. Otherwise, the platform will request the new entity to obtain your authorization and consent again. Before transferring your personal information, the platform will send you appropriate notices, informing you of the recipient's name or organization and contact information, and ensuring that your personal information is protected in accordance with this privacy policy.
(IV) Public Disclosure
The platform will only publicly disclose your personal information in the following cases:
1. After obtaining your explicit consent.
2. Disclosure based on legal requirements: In cases of relevant laws, regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory requirements from government authorities, the platform may disclose your personal information. When the platform receives such a request for disclosure, it will require the requesting party to provide corresponding legal documents, such as subpoenas or investigation letters. The platform believes that, within the scope permitted by law, transparency should be maintained as much as possible regarding the information requested. The platform carefully reviews all requests to ensure they have a legal basis and are limited to data that law enforcement agencies have the legal right to obtain for specific investigative purposes.
3. In response to public health emergencies or to protect your or the public's personal and property safety from harm, it may be necessary to disclose your personal information. The platform will disclose your personal information within the scope permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
Section Four: How the Platform Stores Your Personal Information
1. Unless required by applicable laws and regulations to retain personal information for mandatory periods, the platform retains your personal information only for the duration necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. The platform sets different storage periods for different types of personal information based on business requirements and the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. Upon expiry of the storage period, the platform will delete or anonymize relevant personal information.
2. When you successfully apply to deactivate your CARMU account, the platform will complete the account deactivation review within 48 hours of receiving your request. After approval of the review, the platform will delete or anonymize your personal information.
3. In case the platform terminates its services or operations, the platform will notify you at least thirty days in advance and will delete or anonymize your personal information after terminating the services or operations.
4. Your personal information collected by the platform within the territory of the People's Republic of China will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China unless you provide explicit authorization.
Section Five: How the Platform Protects Your Personal Information
(1) Technical Measures to Protect Your Personal Information
The platform attaches great importance to the security of personal information and takes all reasonable and feasible measures to protect your personal information:
1. Data Security Technical Measures
The platform will adopt security measures that comply with industry standards, including establishing reasonable rules and regulations, security technologies, to prevent unauthorized access, use, modification, damage, or loss of your personal information. For example, encryption technology is used to ensure the security of user data during transmission and storage processes.
2. Other Security Measures Taken by the Platform to Protect Personal Information
(1) CARMU implements comprehensive security controls over data through information access agreements, monitoring, and audit mechanisms. The platform also organizes security and privacy protection training courses to enhance employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.
(2) The platform only allows CARMU and affiliated employees, as well as partners who need to know relevant information, to access personal information. Strict access control and monitoring mechanisms are set up for this purpose. The platform also requires all individuals who might come into contact with your personal information to fulfill their confidentiality obligations. Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in legal liability or suspension of cooperation with CARMU.
(3) The platform will take all reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that irrelevant personal information is not collected. The platform will only retain your personal information for the period required to achieve the purposes stated in this policy, unless an extension is necessary or permitted by law.
3. Security Incident Response
(1) When conducting online vehicle transactions through the client, you unavoidably need to disclose your personal information to the trading counterparty or potential trading counterparty, such as contact information or postal address. Please protect your personal information properly and provide it to others only when necessary.
(2) The platform will make every effort to ensure the security of any information you send to the platform. However, due to technical limitations and various malicious methods that may exist, even with enhanced security measures, it is not possible to guarantee the absolute security of information at all times.
(3) In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, the platform will promptly inform you in accordance with legal requirements. This includes notifying you of the basic details and potential impacts of the security incident, the measures taken or to be taken by the platform, suggestions for self-prevention and risk reduction, and remedial measures for you. The platform will promptly notify you of the event-related information through methods such as email, letter, phone call, push notification, etc. When it is difficult to notify each individual data subject separately, the platform will issue announcements in reasonable and effective ways. Additionally, the platform will proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required.
(4) If you have any questions about the platform's protection of personal information, you can contact the platform through the contact information provided in this policy. If you discover that your personal information has been leaked, especially if your account and password have been compromised, you can contact the platform through the contact information provided in this policy for appropriate measures to be taken.
Section Six: How You Manage Your Personal Information
(I) Access, Update, and Copy Your Personal Information
You have the right to access or update your personal information. You can do so by:
1. Profile Information: If you wish to access or edit personal information in your account, you can do so by visiting or editing your account's profile information under "My" - "Profile" - take action;
2. If you are unable to access or update this personal information through the above methods, you can contact the platform through the ways listed in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy to receive guidance from relevant staff.
(II) Delete Your Personal Information
1. In the following situations, you can request the platform to delete your personal information through the methods listed in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy:
1) If the platform's handling of personal information violates laws and regulations.
2) If the platform collects and uses your personal information without obtaining your consent.
3) If the platform's handling of personal information violates your agreement.
4) If you no longer use the platform's products or services, or you have deactivated your account.
5) If the platform no longer provides products or services to you.
6) If the storage period of your personal information has expired.
7) If the platform's processing purpose has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve.
8) Other circumstances as prescribed by laws and regulations.
2. If the platform decides to respond to your deletion request, the platform will also notify entities that have obtained your personal information from the platform and request them to delete it in a timely manner, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or these entities have obtained your independent authorization. After you request the platform to delete information, the platform may not immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system, but it will be deleted during backup updates.
(III)Changing the Scope of Your Authorized Consent
1. Each business function requires some basic personal information to be completed (see Part II "How the Platform Collects and Uses Your Personal Information" of this policy). For the collection and use of additional personal information, you can give or withdraw your authorized consent at any time.
2. You can disable corresponding device permissions (including camera, microphone, photos) through the settings feature on your mobile device or app and withdraw your consent for the platform to obtain your personal information.
3. You can change the scope of your authorized consent for the platform to collect personal information or withdraw your consent by requesting information deletion, disabling device functions, changing settings in the CARMU client, or canceling your account. Additionally, you can also follow the methods provided in the "Contacting the Platform" section of this privacy policy to request the withdrawal of your consent for the platform to process your personal information.
4. Please understand that each business function requires some basic personal information to be completed. When you withdraw your consent or authorization, the platform will no longer be able to provide services corresponding to the withdrawn consent or authorization, nor will it process the related personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the processing of personal information carried out based on your previous consent. After you withdraw your consent, the platform will no longer process the relevant personal information.
(IV)Account Deactivation
You can deactivate your registered account at any time. You can request account deactivation from the platform through the methods mentioned in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy.
(V)Restricting Automated Decision-Making
If you do not wish to receive platform messages when using platform products or services, you can cancel them at any time: Click on "My" - "Privacy Settings" - "Message Notifications" - Turn off. If you cannot disable platform message notifications using the above method, you can contact the platform through the methods mentioned in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy.
(VI)Limitation or Refusal of Processing
If you wish to limit or refuse the processing of your personal information by the platform, you can contact the platform through the methods mentioned in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy. Please note that when you restrict or refuse the platform's processing of your relevant personal information, you may not be able to use some or all of the services provided by the platform.
(VII)Request for Explanation
If you wish to obtain an explanation of this privacy policy from the platform, you can also contact the platform through the methods mentioned in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy.
(VIII)Response to Your Above Requests
1. For security, you may need to provide a written request or other proof of your identity. The platform may require you to verify your identity before processing your request. For reasonable requests, the platform generally does not charge fees, but for multiple repeated requests or requests beyond reasonable limits, the platform may charge a certain cost.
2. The platform may refuse requests that are groundlessly repetitive, require excessive technical means (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legal rights of others, or are highly unrealistic (such as involving information stored on backup tapes).
3. The platform will be unable to respond to your request in the following situations:
1) Related to the platform's fulfillment of legal obligations.
2) Directly related to national security and defense security.
3) Directly related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests.
4) Directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, and judgments.
5) The platform has sufficient evidence to indicate your subjective malice or abuse of rights.
6) To protect your or another person's significant legal interests such as life and property, but it is difficult to obtain the person's authorized consent.
7) Responding to your request would cause serious harm to your or another individual's legal interests.
8) Involves trade secrets.
Section Seven: How the Platform Handles Minors' Personal Information
Generally, the platform does not provide services to individuals under the age of 14, and does not actively collect and process personal information of individuals under the age of 14. Minors are advised not to register accounts or send personal information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses to the platform. However, due to technical reasons, in certain situations, the platform may be unable to identify users' ages. If you believe the platform may improperly hold information from or about minors, please contact the platform using the methods outlined in the "How to Contact the Platform" section of this privacy policy.
Section Eight: How This Policy Gets Updated
(I) To provide you with better services and in line with the development of CARMU's business, this privacy policy may be updated accordingly. The platform will release updated versions on the CARMU website and app and inform you of the content updates before they take effect through website announcements or other appropriate means. Please visit CARMU to stay informed about the latest privacy policy. By continuing to use the relevant services after the updated policy takes effect, you indicate that you have fully read, understood, and accepted the updated policy and are willing to be bound by it.
(II) For significant changes, the platform will provide more noticeable notifications (such as special prompts on browsing pages) to explain specific changes to the privacy policy.
Significant changes referred to in this policy include but are not limited to:
1. Significant changes in the platform's service model, such as the purpose of processing personal information, types of personal information processed, and ways of using personal information.
2. Significant changes in the platform's ownership structure, organizational structure, etc., such as business adjustments, bankruptcy mergers, changes in ownership due to business restructuring, and others.
3. Major changes in the main entities for sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing personal information.

Section Nine: How to Contact the Platform

(III) Generally, the platform will respond within fifteen working days after verifying your identity.
